10. CAPE BOJEADOR LIGHTHOUSE
Cape Bojeador Lighthouse also called Burgos Lighthouse is a cultural heritage site located in the northwestern most tip of Luzon. It was built in Hispanic era, overlooking the Cape Bojeador where galleons used to sail by.
This 60 feet tall ( 20 m) tower still functions to beacon international ships that enter Philippines, guiding them safely away the rocky beach shores.
We bought some souvenirs along the street... Prices range from P20- P2000..
If you are commuting, the site is accessible by tricyle from Pagudpod and Burgos. These are included in South bound tour. Usual tryke fee is P600 for roundtrip.
